What are the air ions?

Air ions are negative charged particles. It is well known, that most air ions can be found in the air near the waterfalls, fountains and forests, where people feel the burst of energy.

Catechin air filter

Air filter and catechin filter are absorbing small dust particles, tobacco smoke and other typical air contaminators. It also absorbs and decontaminates the microscopic viruses and bacteria, rendering them harmless and preventing the spread of infectious diseases.

Catechin is a natural matter, that is found in tea leaves.

Virus decontamination procedure

Virus is using its thorns to attach itself to the healthy cells and contaminate them. Catechin disrupts this virus capability covering the thorns.

Triple deodorizing filter

For scent absorption the combination of three catalysts is used. It’s triple action cleanse the air of the diversity of substances, that can cause unpleasant odor: ranging from tobacco smoke particles and to the chemical vapors. After being subjected to sunlight the filter restores it’s deodorizing capabilities.

Economic energy consumption

New models of the air-conditioners Panasonic consume energy even less regardless of their power. CS-E9BKP model has the degree of efficiency equal to 4,00. Degree of efficiency (СОР, EER), in air-conditioning is the ratio of the cooling or heating power to the consumed power, that is, the higher the degree of efficiency is, the better it is. The given value is the main indicator of efficiency of the air-conditioner operation. It means that you can leave your air-conditioner switched on longer without worrying for electricity bills. Here many original energy-saving Panasonic technologies are combined, including E-scroll compressor and the new heat-transfer device with extended surface area.

Ratio of the degree of efficiency and consumption of electric energy

We also increased efficiency of the air flow both of the inner and outer blocks thanks to such innovations as 2-blade fan of the outer block.

Silent work

At working of the inner block the noise level is only 26 dB. You will nor heat it at all; that’s why, such air-conditioner will nicely suit to bedrooms, sitting-rooms and rooms where you watch TV or listen to music.

We also reduced noise of the outer block with the help of E-scroll compressor and 2-blade fan 2-Wing Fan. You can easily switch off the air-conditioner at night and enjoy your sleep on the fresh air without disturbing your neighbors.

Clean fresh air

Air-cleaning catechin filter

Our new air-cleaning catechin filter absorbs small particles of dust, tobacco smoke and other normal air pollutants. It also entraps and deactivates microscopic viruses and bacteria, neutralizing them and at the same time preventing spreading of infectious diseases.

Moreover, the filter has special covering Titania (titanium dioxide TiO₂), which prevents its contamination and prolonging its service life. It is economic, because it doesn’t require substitution during three years. (It is recommended to clean the catechin filter with a vacuum cleaner every 6 months).

What is catechin?

Catechin is a natural substance made of the tea tree leaves. Since the ancient times catechin has been used in medicine to fight viruses, bacteria and other pathogen microorganisms.

Mechanism of virus deactivation

Virus uses its pins to attach to healthy cells and to infect them. Catechin interfers with this ability of the virus by covering its pins.

Deodorizing filter with the sun recovery

Carbonic filter absorbs tobacco smoke, animal undercoat and other air pollutants which can be a source of non-pleasant smell in a room. It relates also to minor smells which you usually don’t notice. Your family can constantly enjoy pleasant freshness in the house. In order to restore deodorizing effect of the filter, it’s enough to expose it once in a half a year to the influence of direct sun rays. Under normal conditions of operation, there’s no necessity to replace the filter sooner that after three years of service.

How filter deodorizes the air and restores its properties

Carbonic filter absorbs particles causing smells. Fibers of titanium dioxide (Titania) are interlaced with the filter.

Under the influence of ultra-violet sun radiation Titania extracts free radicals of hydroxide decomposing pollutants into H₂O and СO₂.

Due to that deodorizing effect of the filter is 95% restored.

New stylish design

New models of Panasonic air-conditioners are distinguished by an elegant design.

In the centre of the front panel there is located an indicating panel in the shape of half moon. Thanks to the stylish and attractive body these air-conditioners blend with any interior. Grate of the air intake on the front panel has less slots which facilitates cleaning of the device and improves its appearance. Accurate and simple indication facilitates checking of the air-conditioner state.

Low energy intensity. New heat-transfer device with double surface bend

Construction with the double bend ensures large surface area and high efficiency of the heat-transfer device despite its small dimensions. We managed to achieve increased efficiency of heat transfer by increasing the number of copper pipes up to 15.

Efficient and noiseless new tangential fan

We enlarged the diameter of tangential fan by 90 mm in order to facilitate passing of the air flow. It allows to keep ultralow level of noise during operation of the air-conditioner while reinforced air flow distributes clean fresh air all around the room.

Energy saving - controlling inverter PFC

Inverting control saves electric energy and ensures more flexible and continuous temperature control by regulation of output power of the air-conditioner. Inverting models produced this year are distinguished more higher energy efficiency due to the recently developed scheme PFC (power figure correction) which reduces the loss of current from the power source and increases maximum power. Energy saving/ silent operation of E-scroll compressor

In the core of each inverting air-conditioner Panasonic there’s an innovative E-scroll compressor, the most compact and highly-efficient compressor mechanism in the world. Its smooth, uninterrupted operation allows to achieve unexampled productivity. Moreover, it reduces noise and vibration while keeping silence and comfort inside.

Efficiency and silence of 2-blade fan

New 2-blade fan makes the outer block even more silent. This innovative design suppresses noise of the air flow by giving the possibility of unimpeded output of the air generated behind the blade (end curl). We also enlarged the surface area of the conic assembly in the centre of fan. This configuration, as well as using of more air absorb more the fan with blades in the form of a seagull wing, allows to absorb more air than the traditional 3-blade fan which considerably increases efficiency of the air-conditioner operation.
