Here the description of checks which are necessary to perform at failure detection of the controller or the gauge is resulted, the table allowing correctly to classify malfunction is resulted, that in turn will facilitate elimination of the arisen malfunction.

Basic check at malfunction of the controller

At malfunction of the controller on the index of temperature there is an inscription of malfunction, target and suction apertures accordingly are fixed on the mode to the bottom / glass and external air, and air mixing flap - in position at the moment of occurrence of malfunctions.

If after indication of malfunction on the index of temperature even at check there is no code of malfunction it means malfunction of the controller.

Basic checking of each gauge

Before carrying out of checking concerning each gauge, first of all, they define the presence of malfunction or breakage of the circuit of each gauge with the help of the self-diagnostics function additionally stipulated by the controller.

Checking of the gauge based on using of self-diagnostics function

At occurrence of malfunctions in the gauge system at input of signals during the operating time of ATC, index of the controller temperature shows malfunction (automatic mode status).

At simultaneous pressing of switches of temperature adjustment, there appears the designation of a code of malfunction (if the designation of a code of malfunction does not appear, the controller is faulty).

On the code of malfunction it is possible to define malfunction of the gauge.

At simultaneous malfunction of more than two gauges, consistently, with an interval in 1 second, there appears designation of the code of malfunction.
