Automatic temperature control

General

Modern automobiles can be equipped with various air-conditioner control systems, one of such systems is the system of the automatic temperature control of the automobile saloon (ÀTC).

This system allows optimally to support the temperature parameters set by the driver. In this chapter the fact-finding information on the ATC system is given, allowing to understand the working principle of the system.

Purpose and the peculiarities of the system of air-conditioning equipped with ATC

The system of air-conditioning equipped with ÀÒC is directed mainly for reduction of the fuel consumption, increase of characteristics at street "fuses" and idling.

The system of the automatic temperature control serves for:

  • maintenance inside of the microclimate necessary to passengers with the help of automatic temperature control and supplied air stream on the basis of using the built - in controller MICOM reacting on internal and external air temperature, solar energy, temperature of the engine cooling liquid;
  • fast maintenance of passengers with cool and warm air in sufficient amount on the basis of the correct arrangement of elements of the ventilation system and heat exchangers with minimization of resistance to the air stream current.

Amount of air: not less than 130 l/sec.
