Maintenance service of the bench equipment

For maintenance of the bench equipment in a serviceable condition, its correct operation is necessary and in-time checking of its technical condition which order of performance is contained in this chapter.

Removal

For removal of the tank it is necessary:

  • To switch on the equipment.
  • To untie two cords on the heater.

Attention: if the equipment was switched on long, the heater may be very hot.

  • To remove from the scale an empty refueling tank and to turn it upside down.
  • From the tank valve to remove a dark blue hose. Thus, MRC-450 installation should issue a sound signal of a buzzer (twice).

Attention: on MRC installation tanks of different volumes may be used. In case of input of the programmed mode, for a choice of the appropriate size of a tank they use the mode key of " adjustments of numerical values " (VALUE ADJUST).

Cleaning

Since during the normal sequence of refuelling, the refrigerant is not removed completely from the refueling tank, contained substance before processing should be completely removed. For this purpose:

  • To start the equipment.
  • To check up whether the manual gates located above the red and dark blue hose are closed.
  • On the control panel to choose the mode "only for return on regeneration" (RECLAIM ONLY).
  • To remove the refrigerant from the hose before lighting of a green lamp of the index "termination (COMPLETED LED).
  • To disconnect the dark blue hose from the channel of a low compartment cell.
  • To open the manual gate of the refueling tank.
  • From the used refueling tank they delete the refrigerant before lighting up of the green lamp of the index "termination" (COMPLETED LED).
  • After having closed the gate of the refueling tank, to disconnect the yellow hose from MRC device and the refueling tank.
  • On a refueling tank to make a mark "empty".
  • Again to set up the dark blue hose.

Installation

For installation of the new tank it is necessary:

  • To connect the dark blue hose (not a service hose) to the new tank R-134a.
  • To open the tank gate and to check up outflow of oil.
  • To turn the tank so that the top side of the tank was directed downwards.
  • To check up whether the same size tank is used during programming with the programmed.
  • To set up causiously the tank on scale and to turn so that hoses did not prevent movement of scale.
  • To fix tanks two cords of the heater.
  • After installation two short hooters of a buzzer should sound. The third long sound of a buzzer means malfunction (ERROR). Thus, inscription ERROR CODE lights up, and inscription LED does not light up.
