Servicing of the system of air-conditioning with the help of the bench equipment


Release — time of underpressure is chosen between 5-95 minutes, and for "maintenance of vacuum" and volume of refuelling, "О" is entered.

Check of oil outflow — time of underpressure 5-95 minutes, and for "time of vacuum" and "time of refuelling".

R-134a refuelling — amount of the refrigerant is entered and "О" time of vacuum and time of maintenance is set up.

Attention: At filling after release 96" hose should be used. Each hose can support about 2 ounces, and the amount really filled in the automobile can be up to 4 ounces.

Oil refuelling — weight of the refrigerant and oil is entered, and for "time of maintenance of vacuum" "О" is entered. As the refrigerant in the system is circulated together with oil, filling of oil is necessary. MRC-450 first makes refuelling by oil.

Regeneration — at return on regeneration, the device removes pressure up to 5 mm m.c. The remaining refrigerant does not begin to boil on an ambient temperature and waits for increase of pressure within 2 minutes. At registration (+) pressure, the pump starts and the system decreases the size of underpressure up to 5 mm m.c. Again after two minutes the cycle is repeated before disappearance of (+) pressure. After the end of the cycle of return on regeneration, on the control panel the index lamp "end" (COMPLETED) is lit up.

Input cancellation — at programming of automatic performance for deleting time, numerical values of input or for input of new values, press on key cancellations. If twice to press without an interval key cancellations, there are erased time of maintenance, time of underpressure, volume of refuelling. Besides cancellation key (CANCEL) is pressed also for the termination of action.

Delay of action and repeated start — for a delay of action, press the button of temporary stop/enter/repeated start (HOLD/ENTER/RESTART). At repeated start, once again press the button.

Definition of the refrigerant amount — for check of the recycled amount, it is necessary to press key checks of AMOUNT. Thus, on the board the condition of regeneration is lit up and the pound of ounce is shown. By pressing the amount checking key, once again the calculated amount which remained in the regeneration tank, is shown. Thus, the condition of regeneration is indicated. If to press the amount checking key for the third time, the condition of refuelling (Virgin) is shown and the calculated amount which is taking place in the refuelling tank. By pressing for the fourth time, the remaining amount of oil in the oil cylinder is shown.

Definition of temperature of external air and the measured temperature — for definition of the temperature, press the button "temperature" so that on the right liquid crystal display the temperature of external air would be highlighted, and on the left - temperature of the driver’s place. As indications on the input and output are the values indicating the system effectiveness, then through comparing with external temperature, it is possible to carry out comparison..

Index lamp of the tank full filling and refrigerant insufficiency (FULL/EMPTY) — the lamp of full filling of the tank (FULL) informs on filling capacity of the recycling tank by the recycled refrigerant R-134a up to the maximal safe size. At filling the recycling tank, the pump during the return on regeneration, is automatically disconnected. Completely filled recycling tank should be replaced with an empty recycling tank (at desire it is possible to continuously carry out the next return on regeneration).

Attention: Device MKC-450 through using the recycling tank can perform work on underpressure and refuelling.

Indication of the lamp about insufficiency of the refrigerant (TANK EMPTY) means, that the tank for regeneration is empty and there is an opportunity of receipt of any amount from the refueling tank. In order for the lamp of full filling is declined, it is needed about 3 kg of the refrigerant.

Storage of non-condensed refrigerant

In order to define whether the tank with the regenerated refrigerant contains excessive amount of the non-compressed gas (air), it is necessary to put the tank under the direct sun rays approximately for 12 hours at the minimal temperature of 18°C.

Into the tank the manometer is set up. Pressure of the tank is defined on the device. They measure the temperature of air approximately at a level of "4" of the tank surface. In order to learn whether the tank pressure exceeds the limiting value, they compare it with the tabulared values of pressure and the temperatures, given further in the table.

If the tank pressure does not exceed the tabulared value and in the tank there is a regenerated refrigerant, the value of not full compression does not exceed allowable, and the refrigerant can be used repeatedly. And if the tank pressure falls outside the limiting borders and the tank contains regenerated R-134а, then slowly from the tank they let out a small amount of vapors and up to achievement of the tabulared value of pressure. The regenerated refrigerant cannot be stored in capacity similar to the refueling tank. It is by all means necessary to use the certificated cylinder for storage of the regenerated refrigerant.

For definition of the moisture amount in refrigerant R-134a returned for regeneration it is used psychmeter. Humidity is measured in Р.Р.М, and the device is the device of temperature reaction.
